The Feature Hub
Every Nectar Feature, Tested Honestly
Dual roleplay modes, deep customization, image generation, chat, memory, voice & video — what's genuinely great, and where the honest limits are.
Dual roleplay modes
Nectar's signature: two distinct registers. Companion is a slow-burn, memory-led relationship; Fantasy is scenario-driven roleplay built for adventurous storytelling that pairs with image generation. You switch in-conversation.
AI chat
Responsive, in-character dialogue. Standard models are cheap (~1 credit/msg); advanced models are smarter but cost 2–20 credits each.
Customization (300+ combos)
Appearance, body, style, personality, voice, backstory and relationship dynamic — the deepest in the category, and it carries into chat and images.
Image generation
Photoreal and anime, consistent with your character. ~5–10 credits per image; best results from advanced models.
Voice & video
Voice adds presence; video features exist but are more limited than image gen. Treat video as a bonus, not a headline reason to subscribe.
Memory
Long-term memory makes Companion mode shine — your character recalls details across sessions. The honest trade-off: it adds about +2 credits per message, an ongoing tax that adds up for heavy daily users.
How to think about features & cost
The features are strong; the question is always credits. Use standard models for casual chat, switch to advanced for big moments, and keep an eye on memory + image spend. Our calculator turns your habits into a real monthly number.
